For Students
We're looking for students who care about the quality of their platform.
What this is
AskYourClass relies on students input and on students sharing content related to the courses they are taking. Most are doing so. But occasionally a post crosses a line: it's unrelated, offensive, or violates our terms of use. We need people on the ground at each university who notice these things and flag them before they affect other students.
As a course monitor, you keep an eye on the courses at your university. You don't police people. You just make sure the platform stays the place that was intended to be.
What you'd be doing
When something gets reported at your university, you're one of the first to look at it and help us decide if it needs action.
Occasionally check recent reviews, posts and attachements at your uni to catch anything that slipped through without being reported.
You know your university's culture better than we do. If something feels off or a rule doesn't make sense in your context, tell us.
Who we're looking for
No special skills required. We're looking for students who are already enrolled, care about fair and useful information, and can spend a small amount of time each week keeping things in order.
Ideally you've used the platform yourself and know what kind of content is helpful and what isn't.
Send us an email with your university and a line or two about why you want to help. We'll take it from there.
